Family-Owned
Integrity-Driven
Serving the Fox Field aviation community for over 35 years with honesty, safety, and professional mentorship.
A Tradition of
Safety & Excellence
MH Aviation strives to create a welcoming, family-style flight school where safety is paramount, aircraft are updated and readily available, and every student receives detailed, personalized training. Our goal is to help pilots of all levels succeed and make learning attainable through honest pricing and a supportive aviation community.
More Than Business,
It's Our Legacy
MH Aviation has been a staple in the aviation community for over three decades. As a family-owned and operated business, we have built a loyal client base from all over the country. Pilots and aircraft owners come to us because they know they will get the job done with fairness and honesty.
What began as a dedicated maintenance shop founded by Mike Haney in 1988 has evolved into a complete aviation hub. Today, led by Jeff and Jessica Haney, we continue that tradition while expanding into flight training and FBO services.
From Maintenance to
Full-Service Aviation
The Foundation
Mike Haney founds the business at Fox Field as a dedicated maintenance shop. Over the next 30 years, he builds a reputation for integrity, serving the local aviation community with high-quality aircraft inspections and repairs.
The Next Generation
Jeff and Jessica Haney purchase the business, keeping it in the family. They begin modernizing operations while maintaining the core values of safety and customer care established by Mike.
Expansion & Growth
MH Aviation expands the professional flight training, upgrading the fleet with modern Garmin avionics and transforming the facility into a premier one-stop shop for maintenance, fueling, and instruction.
Guided by
Core Values
Family Style
We are a small business that truly cares about the customer. You are not just a number here; we build long-term relationships with customers who return from all over the country.
Safety & Compliance
Operating an FAA Part 145 Repair Station means we adhere to strict regulatory compliance. Our safety-first culture ensures that every aircraft is maintained to the highest standard.
Responsiveness
We pride ourselves on fast, respectful communication. Whether it is a maintenance squawk or a training question, our team is available and ready to help.
Modern Training
We believe in equipping students with the best tools. That is why we invested in upgrading our fleet with glass-panel Garmin G5s and 180hp engine conversions.

FAA Part 145
Repair Station
At MH Aviation, we operate on the simple truth that safety is non-negotiable. As the premier FAA Part 145 Repair Station at Fox Field, we maintain the standard by which others are measured, ensuring your aircraft is cared for by the most experienced hands in the valley. By combining old-school integrity with modern technical precision, our team treats every aircraft as if our own families were flying in it, delivering a service experience that is transparent and undeniably superior.
We are the only operation in the region to offer a true 'One-Stop' ecosystem, providing a reliability that pilot mills simply cannot match. While other schools lose weeks of aircraft down time while waiting for outside mechanics, our in-house team ensures our fleet—and yours—stays mission-ready. From basic squawks and annual inspections to complex avionics upgrades, our integrated approach means less downtime and more flight time, keeping you in the air.
Comfort and Quality
At Fox Field
We have remodeled our facilities to provide a professional yet welcoming environment. Unlike other flight schools where you might struggle to find the dedicated space for learning, we offer distinct amenities to support your training and comfort.
Modern Aircraft,
Safety Centered
Our mechanics main priority is to make sure you train
in the safest, most reliable fleet in the valley.
